PRIVACY AND USE POLICY

Please use the St. John Bulletin Board to post and respond to messages regarding church activities.  We request that you please take responsibility for your opinions by using your own name in your submissions to the Bulletin Board.

The Bulletin Board may not be used to do any of the following:

• advertise any service, business, or political affiliation;
• publish, post, distribute or disseminate defamatory, infringing, obscene or other unlawful material or information;
• threaten, harass, stalk, abuse, or otherwise violate the legal rights (including rights of privacy and publicity) of others;
• falsify authorship of any opinion expressed;
• falsely purport to be a St. John the Evangelist Church employee or agent;
• cause repeated disruptive incidents;
• act, or fail to act, in a manner that is contrary to applicable law or regulation.

If a violation of the Bulletin Board Policy has occurred, the webmaster will take responsive action. Such action may include, but is not limited to, temporary or permanent removal of material from the St. John the Evangelist Directory Servers and warnings to the Internet Service Provider associated with the account in question or account owner or owners responsible. Violations of these Acceptable User Policies may also subject the account owner to criminal or civil liability.
